  • Parchment paper
  • Pastry brush
  • Kitchen scale (recommended)
  • Sharp knife or pastry cutter

Ingredients
  

  • 500g All-purpose flour Sifted for best results
  • 7g (1 packet) Active dry yeast Fresh is best!
  • 250g Unsalted butter Must be cold
  • 250ml Milk Lukewarm
  • 50g Sugar Helps activate yeast
  • 10g Salt Enhances flavor
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash
  • 100g Chopped nuts (optional) Walnuts or almonds work wonderfully

Instructions
 

Yeast Awakening:

  • Warm milk, dance with sugar & yeast

Dough Symphony:

  • Mix flour, salt, yeast mixture

Butter Ballet:

  • Laminate dough with cold butter

Pastry Origami:

  • Fold, rest, repeat 3 times

Shape Magic:

  • Cut, roll, curve those beauties

Golden Transformation:

  • Egg wash, bake at 400°F
